Kate Malykh

Two objects whose construction combined design elements of different products such as kids toys, kitchenware, antique furniture and architecture, decorative interior objects and products for adults. Scale, choice of color and material selection of the sculptures were made to play with tactile expectation and visual perception of the viewer. At first glance the sculptures are inviting and playful, yet disturbing and repulsive.

Kate Malykh lives and works in Moscow, Russia. View more of her work at katyamalykh.comor klllllllllllll.tumblr.com.
